Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku, the Japanese name for a practice begun there in the 1980's) is an immersion of all senses while walking silently with intense awareness in the forest. This focused walk supports total well being as it lowers stress, decreases level of stress hormones, boosts immune system all the while quieting minds. We will be lead by an experienced guide trained by the Association of Forest and Nature Therapy. With stops for quiet discussion and sharing and ending with a tea ceremony, the talk is totally engaging. Never boring!!
Shinrin-yoku is much more than folk wisdom as it has now been substantiated by scientific research.
Kindly join us for this Eastern-based involvement that offers mindfulness practice and meditative traditions. Experience human oneness with nature!!
